this here is my childhood dream. tonight was so kick ass, so so so so so so awesome. nostalgia that comes in a mosh pit, jumping to the music, rocking out with total strangers who love the same music as you, who breathe and live in the same lyrics as you. the high hasn't subsided yet and probably won't for a few days because this was the band i grew up with, the band whose lyrics pulled me through, whose lyrics i believed in and of course, whose members i fangirled. just last night, i was looking through my hard drive which i knew contained my good charlotte folder and just basked in who i was last time. it's amazing how after 7 years, i still could scream my lungs out every word they sang. i saw joel madden in person (he pointed at me when i showed him my heart sign!!! or i'd like to think so ^^), benji madden shredding his guitar, billy martin head banging, paul thomas on his bass and the new drummer dude whose name i do not know and they were live, in person, not just on my computer screen, not just on my tv screen.
benji madden was damn cute, esp how he said he was gonna imitate joel "i have to pinch my nose first to sound like him" WHAT AN ADORABLE PAIR OF TWINS I CAN JUST FANGIRL RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, BUT THAT AIN'T SAVVY.
my ears are still ringing but it's a good kind of pain. and it was a good kind of night. i realised tonight that i could be un-awkward around people i have never talked to. and tonight, i realised that i kinda miss what we shared just a few years back. thanks for sticking with me in the mosh pit when everyone else left cause they didn't enjoy gc, for catching up after these lost times, for tonight, even though you're never ever gonna read this.
daaaang i'd like to go for more of this. panic! or fun., plz come (back) to singapore kthx. moshing is fuckin fun i swear.
